Laenathin (lænaþin in Felinese), was considered one of Firrhna's finest strategists.
As a Beard, he milked the look for all it was worth, looking for all intents and purposes like the manliest felin on the planet. His appetite for brutal efficiency in battle was only matched by his libido afterwards. In the latter half of his life, Laenathin served on the Council, at the planetary level. Officially he was the Face, but he held enough sway on his own to convince the rest of the council to funnel resources into space travel.
Just a year before his untimely death, the first surhinaut landed on one of the planet's moons, establishing their species' first foothold in space.
Abilities
- Convincing: Laenathin had little to no problem swaying the opinion of his peers, be it through word or deed.
- Iron Constitution: Despite his usual mode of dress (see below), Laenathin was not one to fall ill easily.
- Strategic Mind: Laenathin was widely considered an excellent strategist, hence one of his lesser titles.
Weaknessess
- Pride: Laenathin knew he was hot stuff and would regularly forego armor and other such personal protection in favor of wearing only a cloak and sandals, even in winter.
- Insatiable: Laenathin's libido was, at times, crippling.
