Paths
All felin professions are grouped into one or two Paths, of which there are four: Hunter, Crafter, Scholar, and Comforter.
Hunters
A pure Hunter is often a guard who doesn’t usually travel. A Hunter-Crafter is one who catches wild animals and produces material from their spoils, such as leathers and meat. A Hunter-Comforter often serves as a field medic, healing their party members while still capable of self-defense. A Hunter-Scholar is the most dangerous of the lot, including spies, assassins and special-forces soldiers.
Crafters
A pure Crafter is one that produces things of higher quality than one who is not a crafter at all. A Crafter-Comforter focuses on comfort. If a Crafter-Comforter cooks, expect the food to be more delicious than it is healthy. A Crafter-Scholar is often an architect or inventor, and trade range of applicability for quality.
Scholars
A pure Scholar is a researcher who does science for the sole purpose of pushing forward knowledge, and one that often works in an institute. This could include a theoretical physicist or a mathematician, or anyone who practices a science that isn’t physical. A Scholar-Comforter would be a doctor, or a biomedical researcher. Hunter-Scholars and Crafter-Scholars have already been described above.
Comforters
A pure Comforter is one that provides services to others that improve their quality of life. They can be medics, sustaining their patients’ health. Some may provide services like massages, while others may be prostitutes, selling physical pleasure.
