~~Why is there an extra route hacked in to the overworld to circumvent the first mini-fortress of World 4? You can see it at 24:13. Were there any other overworld changes that I missed?~~ Edit: I missed the apparent use of a Hammer to open that shortcut (which I didn't know existed).

Kind of related, The History of Blindfolded Punch-Out released just a few days ago. Obviously, it focuses on Punch Out! exclusively as opposed to speedrunning in general but it goes into all the details and history of it.

AGDQ 2020 Finale - Super Metroid Impossible -

This was my run at AGDQ 2020 of the Super Metroid Impossible romhack
The run and pace was amazing up until I began my Ridley fight which started
at around 1:34:30 in the run. I had a number of bad fights and miscounted
a lot of my shots which lead to 5 deaths in total.
Mother brain also costed me one reset (basically a death) on the first
attempt but the second attempt was salvaged because of a difficult backup
strat that I luckily pulled off.

My current setup: Super Famicom ("2/1/3" SNS-CPU-1CHIP-02) → SCART → OSSC → StarTech USB3HDCAP → AmaRecTV 3.10
