Posted by tomman A media player isn't a website that you can navigate. So you have to switch between browser and file manager, especially if you want to rename and move the file. It's not worth it if I know that I won't watch them again. The only exception for me are reactions where I watch the video in the media player and the reaction in the browser on another monitor. Been using Dexpot for years now, but since Windows 10 it has problems with the calculator, control panel and Edge windows of the OS. Checking out the Windows 10 Task View feature again, it does what I want except that you can't switch to a desktop directly via shortcut. Fortunately there's Virtual Desktop Enhancer, an AutoHotKey script & executable that adds that functionality - I only disabled TaskbarScrollSwitching and DesktopWrapping and set SwitchDesktop to LAlt.
