I thought I'd try the dism /online /Cleanup-Image /StartComponentCleanup command and see how much space it'd free up on my system. It uses the classic Microsoft progress bar where it gets to 99% quickly and then sits there for decades (occasionally a second progress bar will appear that quickly goes from 0 to 100%). The programs intermittently hammering the CPU and SSD according to Task Manager. So far it's freed up at least 1GB of space. I assume it's erasing the installers for all the previously downloaded updates, removing my ability to uninstall the updates if desired. Edit: Now it's consuming all of the CPU and making Youtube videos stop rendering video... and now it completed. It freed up about 4GB's of space. I wonder if you've noticed what happened to https://www.cracked.com/funny-articles.html. They've redesigned the website recently to make significantly less efficient use of vertical screen space and they now often post links to articles days before the articles are available for viewing (the URL's instead redirect you to the websites homepage). You could try limiting the games frame rate to reduce heat. Also in regards to Torchlight 2 while it has a bunch of improvements over TL1, I did not like the visuals of the game because everything blended in with everything making it very hard to focus on what your attacking. They also removed some cool puzzle ideas that were in the demo, from the full game. It also has a bunch of bugs that modders can't fix without reverse engineering the game engine. It also has a very big issue where in multiplayer unless you're near the Host all the enemies will lose their AI and stay still... and it has the dumb mechanic of having to play close to each other or else loot will only spawn for the player nearest to where the loot spawns (other games use a marginally better version of the mechanic where you gain a Item Rarity and/or Quantity buff when in close proximity to each other). I continue to not understand why ARPG games are designed to heavily encourage you to not split up to cover more ground more quickly (why discourage players choosing how to play!?). I believe Diablo 2 also has peer 2 peer online multiplayer as a choice, like with single player you can't transfer the characters to Blizzard's server. Hmm, you could try limiting the game to use 3 or 2 CPU Cores (assuming it has no noticeable impact on performance) to keep the CPU cool. Are you sure it's the CPU and not the GPU (or both) overheating? Also I was confused when you said Hob was kinda like Zelda and that it has a top-down isometric view, since images I've seen portrayed it as having multiple camera perspectives: https://www.vooks.net/hob-the-definitive-edition-is-coming-to-switch-next-week/ (side scrolling and 3rd person perspectives) AMD Ryzen 3700X | MSI Gamer Geforce 1070Ti 8GB | 16GB 3600MHz DDR4 RAM | ASUS Crosshair VIII Hero (WiFi) Motherboard | Windows 10 x64 |

Posted by BearOsoI had an issue with my Geforce 560Ti card where someday it decided it would produce a strange noise any time I played a graphically demanding game. The weird thing about it was that the sound would occasionally falter and when it did so, the game I was playing would stutter at the same time for the same duration as the video card sound faltering. The issue became a permanent phenomena for that graphics card. It was weird as heck! If you're interested in watching a playthrough of the 2019 Resident Evil 2 game, than I strongly suggest you watch ProJared's playthrough on his Youtube channel (he does 2 complete playthroughs). Also Sony now offers refunds for digital purchases so long as you haven't downloaded nor streamed any of the product within 14 days of the purchase date (that includes pre-orders, they can be refunded within 14 days before and after the purchase date). Sony is also blocking 3rd party retailers from selling digital codes: https://www.polygon.com/2019/4/1/18290395/playstation-store-refund-psn-pre-orders. You get 30 days after release day if there are technical issues with your purchase iirc. Annoying bug: 1) I open a topic and read all of it. 2) People post new messages to the topic, causing it to spread across multiple pages. 3) When I click the button to view the latest unread post it will always take me to the latest page I have fully read instead of the next page. It keeps misleading me in to thinking the "unread posts" indicator is broken until I finally realize It's not taking me to the latest unread message... HD texture packs for BL2 and Pre-Sequel are now available as free DLC, and a game engine update for BL1 with various quality of life changes and a HD texture pack... It's listed as "Borderlands GOTY Enhanced" in your game library if you own the original (separate from the original release of the first game). It's good that they didn't replace the existing Borderlands 1 game with the enhanced release.
