How come the forum software isn't open-source? I don't mean to demand that you open it up or anything, but it'd be easier to make and accept contributions if one knew what the code looked like and could send in patches proper, than to have to bug someone else (e.g. Kawa) to implement it. It could still be copyrighted and everything, like shared-source software. There was a certain photograph about which you had a hallucination. You believed that you had actually held it in your hands. It was a photograph something like this. |

It kinda is, just not this particular iteration. This and the other one on this server are built from the last version I was personally involved with. I have no clue what these other people are up to. |

Yeah, but you said you did lots of internal changes and stuff. What about symlinking some other folder (e.g. /abxdsrc) to /bboard, then set it to not execute PHP and enable file listings? Or would that spoil secret tokens/salts? There was a certain photograph about which you had a hallucination. You believed that you had actually held it in your hands. Hey, Kawa. The little icons next to the thread titles/forum names are absurdly tiny on my Confirmed on multiple browsers, which really means "Chrome with a few different names" because the internet is a sad place these days. --- In UTF-16, where available. --- |

Oh, I see what's going on. I can reproduce the problem on my 1920x1080 desktop with Firefox. If I view a thread list with Firefox in full-screen-mode and zoom in with Ctrl-+, everything's fine up to the second-last zoom ratio, 240%. If I hit Ctrl-+ once more to jump up to 300%, the icon shrinks from 15px wide (scaled up 240%, so about 36px) down to 6px wide (scaled up 300%, so about 19px). HOWEVER, if I open the Tree Style Tab sidebar, chopping about 100px off the side of the browser wind,w the icons suddenly shrink even further to 1.3px (scaled up 300%, so about 4px). Poking around in the Firefox devtools, I can restore the images to their intended size by removing the 'max-width: 100%' CSS property. That makes a kind of sense - "100%" generally means "100% of the width of the parent element", but a table cell's size normally comes from its children, and if all the cells in that column contain nothing, or a "max-width: 100%" image, that column is probably the first to be squeezed to nothing when horizontal space gets cramped - like at high-zoom levels, or on a portrait display. The ending of the words is ALMSIVI. |

Strangely, I'm seeing the small icons in the recently released Firefox Preview, but not in regular Firefox for Android. |

Posted by Screwtape Hey look, it's that suggestion I made a while back so the images don't overflow. Who'd have thought there could be unforeseen consequences to applying a rule for every image on the entire page? Probably it's easier to override it for icons than try and specifically apply it to all user-supplied img tags, because they can show up pretty much anywhere (pm, profile, preview, thread, and probably ten more edge cases):
There was a certain photograph about which you had a hallucination. You believed that you had actually held it in your hands. It was a photograph something like this. |

Probably better would be to only apply the max-width to img inside the table cells that correspond to posts/PMs (I'm pretty sure they share some common CSS rule like a class that's only for them or something) and the userbit next to them (may need to apply to said img in profile pages too). While it may indeed be easier to apply a rule that mass targets and then add rules for exceptions, you'd have to keep track of all the exceptions AND have to look out for new edge cases. It's better practice to only target what you want and add new rules to target as you desire, ensuring that the rules are significantly less likely to unintentionally break other stuff. The long term better solution is to make a better theme with cleaner HTML (preferably less reliant on tables for layout) and CSS. Speaking of making cleaner themes, there's actually some issue in the theme I chose where there's a fixed position horizontal line one pixel thick behind the semi-transparent blues. I'll link to that once I upload it so Kawa can take a look at that. I'd actually like to see a theme that looks like a Win2K desktop theme or something, or would like to contribute a theme if Kawa would point me to a sample theme so I can look at the way this ABXD is laid out in its file structure. |

tomman is being censored: http://helmet.kafuka.org/byuubackup2/viewtopic.php@f=6&t=637&start=800.html#p55160 From here, at least three of his posts are erased (the third one in the next page), maybe the automated tool used to set up the archive screwed up something?
