    Hey, the first XBox controller tried that and it was a disaster.
    (Seriously, the button slant on the OG XB GP is incredibly steep.)


    I only have a vague recollection of the OG Xbox's controller but weren't they much more bulkier compared to XB360 and XBO's controllers?

    Much bulkier, and poorly laid-out(the real problem).

    The OG S controller was much nicer(and better laid-out than the 360/One).

    They? Only one of the controllers can fit on our planet.

    ah yes now I remember it better. Another thing I completely forgot is the OG Xbox actually had a pseudo 6 buttons layout, diamond + black & white, for both controller models.

    It's like an N64 controller without the middle prong and with a 2nd analog stick.
