browser monoculture is the reason Firefox/Chrome exists and now they are encouraging it. nice going.

look at Discord. they deliberately broke FF52 ESR compatibility before Quantum was released (around an entire month before).

I'm getting pretty sick of this constant fear-mongering. What are the odds that your average consumer is ever going to be affected by exotic vulnerabilities like these? I'd rather just opt out of the "fixes" and get the full advertised speed out of my system, but sadly I'm a stupid Windows luser.

Can't you do that if you're not running Windows Baka Edition (W10) anyway? Though it means manually inspecting the KBs.

Even Vista and (I believe) XP increase in memory usage when all updates are installed. _._

Honestly it makes me sick that they are trying to ban petrol cars by 2030, I hate how they say it's to "protect the environment" when we can't really reverse what has been done!

What does PR mean? Press Release? Pull Request? Public Relations?

I always thought the driving force behind Mozilla in the end of its formation (maybe not so in the beginning) was to defeat browser monoculture. That's what they managed to achieve anyhow, and now everyone including them are going backwards and making everyone use Chrome, obsoletising old hardware and the like!

Speaking of obsoleting old hardware, I hate how HTTPS is practically forced down our throats now.

The footer link is dead, just saying. And you might want to change 'Nikolaj' to 'Nadia'... :P

And it might be a good idea to open source the codebase here (even without a database dump, in order to stop derps like me making uh, derpboards) given how many of us are programmers - it'd be nice to see an ABXD version or derivative that doesn't act funky on post PHP 7.1. Linking to the official ABXD GitHub would, IMO, be a bad idea...

What are you talking about?
Also, it says 'user is online' when they quite clearly aren't in the online list. O_o

i hate rap

it barely passes as music to me, music is about both the lyrical and the background content, to me

though I really like instrumental pieces too, rap just sounds like talking with a generic beat to me if i ever hear it

That's pretty neat! ;)

and yes, something having the manual and ROM in the same file (the PDF idea) is like having the original box :P

I wish I wasn't such a dumbass compared to everyone here lol

I tend to use bright schemes wherever I go so my terminal is usually pure black on white, cannot stand it when non block solid colours are used on a terminal screen, it just isnt right to me :P

You should really consider checking for mobile browsers and adapting certain layout assets.

Things like lib/post.php look odd on smaller screens. Even if it's barely the majority it's still convenient to have, and I did it on my ABXD 2.0.2 fork as a matter of fact :)

Given how the SM64 hacking community’s veterans are extremely down-looking on “newcomers” and anyone not doing things the “traditional way” due to the amount of kids that are too ambitious yet have no time, as well as their overall prejudicial behaviour for the most part (as well as over dramatic from what I know) it’s incredibly unsurprising that not only SMWC lets them roam free but they adhere to things that aren’t even close to a real N64.

HLE and stuff was cool back in the day sure but seriously, it shouldn’t be used nowadays unless we have little to no clue what is being done at the low level operations. (And I’m saying this from someone who knows literally nothing about this stuff)

I think I may have mentioned this before but it might be worth adding a CSS media query and classes that stops certain things appearing on mobile devices to some things like the post helper (looks kinda ugh on my end tbh), as well as forcing some non-100% widths to 100% where necessary like the registration page form’s table (mainly so it isn’t squashed). I can test those changes on both an iPhone SE and an Xperia Z5, as well as give some advice on that. :)

For consistency also, some of the input fields (like the post input text area) are for some reason bigger width than the actual box on mobile. Dunno what it is like on desktop but it might also look slightly off, idk.

While no one is probably using this board on a mobile device the thought would be nice to have there (I personally am and might actually start posting here again for some reason every now and then, would make things easier if it was more usable without having to mess with desktop much. It’s possible, I’ve managed to adapt the layout before with this software so...)

18. An irl number that has applied since yesterday.

Weird to say kinda. Especially when I read signup forms and I’m now not lying if it says about 18+ stuff lol.
