When I registered, I wanted "the word" to be "the bird". Disappointed.

Same here.

Also, hoi ##BBoard !

I find it sad.

There is a whole market for font utilities which is blatantly ignored and underserved. So both your programs are way more than welcome.

I fully agree!

Also, to add to this list I once made a typographic clock widget for the Mac OS X Dashboard almost 100% based on the iOS jailbroken lock screen app "TypoClock" (which also inspired an Android version). By my last count it's had an actual number of downloads, and I even found out one of my college classmates installed it without even knowing it was mine! If you count typography as related to fonts, then so far we're all about fonts!

I also request "View First Unread" rather than "View Most Recent Post" functionality.

I have no idea where to even start with that 😸

Edit: okay so that was a lie in practice. You can click the icon on the left to go the first unread post, and if there's a whole other page after that it'll consider the last post on this page the one you last read.
Hells to the yes!

Groovy! Clicking the plus icon on the left indeed brings to the first unread post :)

Database actually, serverside. I meant to clear it on my laptop for testing but had the wrong PMA open.

They don't even look alike, how dumb was that?

THAT explains why all the threads for me have unread posts right now.

I wouldn't mind seeing Aaron Eckhart play Stan Lee in a biopic of either him or Marvel.

KAWA HACKED THE BOARD!

Yes. Yes he did. He's made it abundantly clear he's significantly transformed this installation of AcmlmBoard :)

I look forward to the day I can actually influence the direction of front-end web development practices. I had planned a trilogy of books (HTML+CSS, JS, all-in-one primer) and already outlined much of the HTML+CSS book before graduating from college.

FWIW, Kode54 maintains an updated version of GME within his various audio projects like foo_gep and Cog.app. I don't remember which service he prefers to host on, though, but I'm 95% sure there's a link to the foo_gep source on the foo_gep page on Foobar2000's site.

I'm interested to see how this will affect the Sphere Game Engine, having switched to ChakraCore within the past year or so.

When you don't give a shit about stuff like flexbox, writing a layout engine from scratch seems almost within reach.

Keep in mind IE didn't even support full CSS 2.1 until IE8, and that was in an era when Firefox had its largest market share and Chrome was in its infancy.

So far I've successfully and intentionally avoided watching any LPs of Smash Ultimate, mainly because I actually plan on getting a Switch soon and want to be unspoiled re Zelda BOTW and Smash Ultimate. I made the mistake of watching the Super Best Friends LP of Super Mario Odyssey, so unfortunately I've spoiled myself with that.

I'm currently looking for a free keyboard app for iOS that has a tab key. The only keyboard I've found for iOS with a tab key at all is a $4.99 one (Pro Keyboard with PC Layout) that only works on iPad while I'm looking for one that also works on iPhone. Anyone here know of any iOS keyboards with a tab key in the layout?

While I understand that this is a relatively early version, I'm a tad disappointed that the hiro/source-edit widget hasn't yet made its way over to non-gtk implementations yet. For hiro/hex-edit, at least on macOS you might be able to get away with borrowing some code from Hex Fiend, but I don't know yet what would be a good starting point for syntax highlighting textboxes (TextMate and Fraise might be good candidates, but without yet looking at their sources I wouldn't be surprised if they have super-custom paint() loops instead of some native Cocoa source-edit widget).

Yea, I'll just view source and figure out the JS he uses for the on-site demo.

Ah. Even though you don't necessarily like SciTE have you considered just the Scintilla highlighting component as a code inspiration? It seems to continue to be supported, having had updates as recently as October 2017, so maybe the code is reasonably understandable. I know the text editing component of the older version of the Sphere Editor used it to great success.
