Edit: they seem to have reconsidered. Oh well, backup plan it is.
Take off and nuke the site from orbit?

And even then, I'd sooner watch Kamen Rider, and that's on Sunday.

How do you feel about the new show being called Kamen Rider 01? It just seems needlessly confusing to me.

I can't remember any disk defragmenter having a Scandisk-like UI.

...but then, I only learned about "defragmenting" and "hard disks can go bad for any reason" well after the Windows 95 era.
That's DOS 6.22's DEFRAG.EXE

Yeah, JavaScript is a huge problem at this point, but it would take a concerted multi-vendor effort to kill it like Flash. And that won't happen because Google is an offender.

...
Maybe Oracle will kick it off by suing everyone because Java is a registered trademark? It'd be nice if they did SOMETHING good.

Just because you can doesn't mean that you should.

Although one of the audio channels isn't consistently operated each time you play an audio track (Noise channel output differs every time you click Play), NotsoFatso does an amazing job of upmixing the audio.
As I recall, the hardware outputs the square waves on one pin and the everything-else on a second pin.

But that doesn't mean the composition was ever intended to BE stereo, or that forcing it to stereo is going to work well.

AT LONG LAST! Seamonkey 2.49.5 is out.
https://www.seamonkey-project.org/

Also comments about the future.
They aren't sure what they're going to do after 2.57(based on Firefox ESR 60), because Gecko's been shredded and gutted by Team Firefox in their ongoing crusade to make sure Gecko isn't usable by anyone that isn't Firefox.
"The current Mozilla Gecko codebase has seen a flow of constant major changes and api removals in the last 2 years and is no longer really usable for our needs." as they more diplomatically put it.

Sure but in the case of the NES the hardware capabilities and performance limitations that composers faced more often than not resulted in their songs having neat stereo effects (stereo chords and sounds travelling from one side to the other seamlessly) and sounding really good in general in Stereo.
Panning seamlessly seems odd, given that the voices on the two pins actually carry different capabilities.

Certainly, music has a strong tendency to use a square wave and a triangle wave in combination to create a desired effect, but... that's really an argument AGAINST separation.
The older mods used to include a potentiometer to mix the two channels to dial in a stereo separation level, because complete separation was rarely desired, and there was always something that just sounded fracked up if it wasn't mono. Nowadays, kids are all "100% stereo separation is the one true way, the old mods suck because they use more components and don't give full separation!"

Ummm... the Nintendo doesn't HAVE two triangle waves.

It has two square waves, but they both output on the same pin. Any separation of them is a gross emulation hack and not really Nintendo sound anymore, by any stretch.

I guess I shoulda made my comment about the Quote system here, in any case thanks for adjusting the Quote visuals to make it easier to see who said what.

Here's a feature request: Add a "Cancel" button when making posts and editing posts, the button should obviously take you back to the previously visited page.
Why not just alt-left? Or click the thread title above the reply/edit box? Or the back button in the address bar?

Big baby. Final Fantasy ain't that bad.
Also, I dunno about the 'Swan version, but the GBA version is a wildly imbalanced mage supremacy festival due to shoe-horning in the later games' "MP pool and casting cost" system instead of the original "castings per spell level" mechanism. There's effectively no limit on magic because of it and you can just lit3 or nuke everything.

The PS1 version adds retargetting dumb attack choices and batch purchase of potions without making it the Black Wizard Power Hour.
