Composite video for sync is actually correct for SCART. Which isn't to say you won't get better results with a cleaner sync signal, just that it isn't necessarily wrong. --- In UTF-16, where available. --- |

Posted by KakashiThat one probably WON'T work. The TV needs HSync and VSync both. HSync signals the end of a line, VSync signals the end of a frame(more or less). Composite sync is both sync signals on one line. Unlike composite video, they're very easy to separate out and don't interfere with each other, so there's not really a quality loss there. --- In UTF-16, where available. --- |

I'm pretty sure J8 should be closed. Note that it wasn't even an option on older revisions. You can try using CSync instead of CVideo, but I don't think that's really an issue. I'd wait on that, try it if nothing else helps. Edit: "NES / Famicom – The NESRGB mod offers both TTL and 75 ohm csync output, toggled via jumper J8. If you plan on using a SNES multi-out and standard SNES cable, use TTL to match the SNES’ output. If you’re using a cable with no components in the line, make sure to use 75ohm output. csync line: Select sync via jumper." I don't remember what your cable is like. --- In UTF-16, where available. --- |

Posted by CovarrI'd disagree about it being similar to Mario Kart. The Mario Kart idea of balancing would be more akin to the winning team's planes starting to spontaneously explode whenever they take off. --- In UTF-16, where available. --- |

I was just taking a dig at Mario Kart's attitude of punishing the winners more than it actually assists the losers. The blue shell provides no meaningful aid to the guy in last place, just the satisfaction of taking someone else out with him. Though apparently Battlefield does start extending the spawn timer if your team is very far ahead, it only starts at quite high score differences. --- In UTF-16, where available. --- |

It adjusts the time it takes vehicles to spawn, not players. And Super Mario Kart is fine, but the later games the "slow driver" inventory is mostly dedicated to fucking over other players(especially the guy in first) instead of actually helping the guy at the back catch up. --- In UTF-16, where available. --- |

You PROBABLY don't need the -5 line. While very common in the 70s and early 80s, the rise of CMOS technology eliminated its usage(as CMOS transistors don't need -5). But no guarantees. --- In UTF-16, where available. --- |

I've been playing Pokken Tournament. It is a more direct version of the typical pokemon cockfighting shtick, in that you are directly controlling your trained fighting creatures in a versus fighter not dissimilar to Tekken.
