Posted by AndreCunhaIt is an old pop music reference. Or perhaps a less-old Corn Flakes commercial reference. --- In UTF-16, where available. --- |

Wikipedia has a long list of places the song has been used since it originally hit the charts; I'm guessing most uses today are references to one of those (and in particular, Family Guy) rather than directly referencing the 1963 original. Man, what time to be a musician, though: hear some other band singing a song at a concert, sing it yourself at your next concert with some ad-libs when you can't remember the words, have it hit #4 on the Billboard Top 100. It's like Hamsterdance but thirty years earlier. The ending of the words is ALMSIVI. |

Yop All ! Didn't want to post the first message in an empty forum a few days back. Glad to see y'all here. Even if I don't post often (at all?) I love to read your tech/non-tech/nonsense/offtopic discussions :) BTW, tukuyomi here, but I changed my nickname to reflect to my MySocialLifeInTheInternetzâ„¢ (I'll stop posting here because I REALLY want to already derail this topic :D) |

PSA: don't expose your new iShinies™ anywhere near helium Because using quartz oscilators wasn't Courageous™®© enough, Apple switched to MEMS oscillators, which are prone to get stuck if exposed to certain particles, like helium atoms, rendering your device pretty much bricked until said obstructions dissipate on their own. Not a problem for you or me, but certainly this is not so great for anyone servicing helium-filled apparatus (from MRI/CT scanners to those newfangled helium-filled HDDs to something more mundane, like balloons) where the risk of a He leak is always present. Hey y'all just read about Byuu's board closing. Lurked on the forum some though not a whole lot in the last few months, I think I registered at one point on one of the previous Byuu boards, 2012-13 probably. pretty sure I even posted on the zsnes board more than a decade ago.I was around 14 at the time so, that's been over 10 years.Regardless it was great to follow Byuu's progress for so long. Also is there a specific size the avatar image needs to be in order to show up?I linked one from imgur but it doesn't show I think it's 200x188 .png format. No big deal either way Posted by Kawa ah thanks |

What does mean the post counter here? For example, for most users the values are equal (a new user with a single post would read "1/1"), while for some other the readings are... weird. For example, my last post here reads "13/21", and even Kawa's posts on THIS page have different readings (34/46, 46/46). Is that a sort of "post number / total post count"? Posted by tomman That's exactly it. The first number is what post number it is among all your own posts among all threads, and the second number is your total post count. It's a little more obvious when you look through an individual member's posts from their profile; that's how I figured out wtf it was, since it's not really intuitive at all. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Screw_Yall |
