AGI0/AGI1 - I meant original ones!!!

Eero R Maybe it wasn't understandable enough... :o
rwfromxenon Yes, they ARE STILL LICENSED BY SIERRA.
Eero R Is buying them from other guys who have them illegal... :o
Rob I think they stopped selling Leisure Suit Larry, so you can probably download that without any hassle from any abandonware site. I'm not entirely sure though.

HwM He's just asking for some original/legal copies for sale... So why lock it?

Wouldn't give much chance to find one though (especially in countries other than America), except King's Quest 1 maybe... Nevertheless, most copies are probably defective anyway... Not to mention expensive...

PS: Stefan?
gpm EBay has 43 items up for "leisure suit larry".
45 for "space quest"
54 for "police quest"

Heck, they even have 4 for "mixed up mother goose"!

And cheap too...

What are you waiting for?
sonneveld I've managed to track down all of the agi games (except police quest.. i bought pq3 accidently and I haven't got around to getting into ebay again)

but you have to remember.. there are SCI remakes and the sequels.. so there's not as many agi games out there as you'd think.

Especially mother goose.. there's some crappy CD versions around instead of the AGI version.

Eero R Yeah, AGI0/AGI1 original games are very hard to find, especially when they can't be found from internet... :-\ And I don't want to have AGI2/AGI3 games, because I seem to have all of them...
PS: I don't care if they are defective...
df because the v2 versions were so easy to get, i think it would be very hard to find v0/v1 versions.

the original v0 KQ1, probably too rare to find
and v1 BC, KQ2, again, too easy to get 'working' non bootable versions.

unless you find a junk sale with someone who has old tandy pcjr machines and software...

Brian_Provinciano Yeah. The old booters are very rare and expensive when in the "right" seller's hands.
rwfromxenon I remember once playing a text-only version of Mixed up Mother Goose! I don't know what year it was made though. No graphics.
Eero R I don't think it was made by Sierra. Otherwise I would have put it into my wanted-games-list... ::)

Yeah i did the characters for Screwed Up Pimp Momma Goose...they have like 8 main characters and the rest of the characters are the ones from Farie Tails...kinda corny if you ass me.

Oh, sorry, this was a question directed at Patrick...

The confusion is a result of Patrick editing his original post, which currently reads this:

Anyhow, previously it said:

Patrick wrote:

ok this needs to be locked for the same reason the other was...sorry Stefan...

df prehaps if you put up a Sticky closely related to that in the General board that says "no abandonware mentioning" or something

(err, sorry Patrick, you've probably removed it for a reason, but still...)

So I was wondering about the Stefan-part; Perhaps Patrick discovered that "Eero R
smartguy240 slip up...i had just got done talking to stefan on AIM...and i felt like an idiot...this has happened b4

SGreenslade Uhh...I wasn't aware I was masquerading as Eero R
Eero R Me and you? You and me? I'm going nuts... ::)
And using emoticons is the first thing to do in Mega-Tokyo... ;D
SGreenslade For future reference, in case of "slip-ups", the "S" in my screen name stands for Stefan...which is the same name as the ego in lemur's Lasse Holm - The Quest for Revenge.
