Can you make adventure game with the last scistudio version?

liosliante Can you make games like the King's Quest V with the scistudio, with the interface point-and-click?

I want make a game, but I want to work it with that interface... Now I'm using the AGS but I don't like it...

I want to create a remake the King's Quest I VGA in Spanish and I have to know the program possibilities...
Brian_Provinciano It would be possible to make a point and click game like King's Quest V with SCI Studio 2.1, but you would have to write the whole toolbar code base. It would also only be EGA.

SCI Studio VGA, under development, will allow you to create games using the exact same engine KQV used, and will have an identical interface!

Yes. I made sci1-like with agi interpreter. SCI0 should be not a problem.

If You're talking about Tierra's King's quest I VGA, you should ask them to see this game in Spanish.

But if you want to make your own King's quest 1 VGA,
why not to make a new King's quest unstead just making a remake.

liosliante Yes, I 'm working on King's Quest I VGA the original game from Sierra with AGS (Adventure Game Studio), but in this case in Spanish with a point and click interface.

The problem that I have with SCIStudio is the complex that is to do the scripts and manage the program. So I have to do it in AGS, is more easy and I already have the Intro for that game.

When I finished the Intro and something else I will do a web page and people have to vote me to continue with the game... And maybe the game will be in many language, but these on the future...
Robin_Gravel You should wait until Brian releases his sci studio vga.

I guess you want to play king's quest 1 vga in Spanish,
right?!

This is not a good place to talk more about ags. Myself I'm still not figured out how the ags script works.

liosliante Brian Provinciano, I think that my problem is to have your manuals in English...

The only language that I already know to programming is C/Basic/Pascal, so I think that I have a really problem using the scripts and your manuals is very complex for me.

liosliante Robin_Gravel, I think that you are right not to talk about that engine... I only was explaining the level of complex in scripts.
liosliante Robin_Gravel, I don't speak french... And thanks to try to help me.
liosliante You are Robin Gravel, I know that you made a game using this engine. You are very famous to me, and I already have your game on one of my CDs... It's a nice one!!! ;)

Thanks
Omer Mor lio: have you seen the KQ1 VGA by Tierra (not Sierra) ? because from what you wrote I think you're not aware there's already a KQ1 VGA in English. No need to draw all the VGA graphics all over again. Just try to write to the Tierra team.
