How well does Higan emulate the GBA at the moment?
What's the most accurate GBA Emulator at this point in time?
I'm wondering, because with a lot of systems I can find accuracy focused emulators, but for the GBA I can't.
My only choices are VBA-M and No$GBA right now, and VBA-M(and VBA) somehow has the worst screen tearing I've ever gotten on an emulator, not sure what's up with that.

VBA-M vsync refuse to work for me too. I ended up using retroarch with the VBA-Next core.

Oh, I never use Vsync or tripple buffering, The input lag is too high for me, the input lag you normally have is annoying enough to me. It only works in full screen anyways, and I usually play windowed. I mean, VBA has a lot more screen tearing than any other emulator I use without vsync. Higan has very little screen tearing to begin with, it's pretty nice.

No$GBA is probably among the best, but that's pure speculation. The VBA-M code is clearly hacky, though it obviously achieves good compatibility.

Higan's GBA core is a bit immature, but it is well-written. There are still a lot of bugs. I have been meaning to hunt down some more bugs, but keep doing other things instead.

No$GBA has some annoying transparency issues in GBA games, like with foggy caves in Pokemon:

So multiple people are trying to make an accurate GB emulator,
but no one tried to make an accurate GBA Emulator yet? Strange.

Well, to be fair, the higan gba core is cycle accurate, but just still has low compatibility.
