    Thread review
CaptainJistuce To my knowledge the only Super Nintendo emulator ever available for BeOS was a fork of SNES9x. As one might expect, it has not been maintained for a very long time.

https://www.zophar.net/beos/snes.html Whadda ya know, there were actually two.
    daman Oh, ok.
Kawaoneechan (And anyone who cares enough even a little about SNES emulation to want to use bsnes would not settle for zsnes.)
funkyass the emulator that byuu worked on is called bsnes/higan, and was never released for BeOS. the 'b' standing for byuu, and not BeOS. This was first released in 2005 and has the source available.

there was a beOS port of zsnes tho, released in 2001, called bsnes, which never went anywhere.
tomman If that's your case, unfortunately you're looking for something that does not exist: a port of THE bsnes we use and love was never made to BeOS, as the latter predates the former, and when the first bsnes beta build hit the road, BeOS was long dead commercially.

You may be looking for the Haiku port insteaad, which DOES exist... but only as a RetroArch/libretro core.

EDIT: Final retail BeOS release (R5) was in March 2000, while development on bsnes started on October 2004... over 4 years later, and only for Windows (IIRC), initially. Aside of the libretro core Haiku port, I'm not aware of any known attempt to port bsnes to BeOS.
daman But bsnes emulator is the only one 'Super nintendo' emulator that besides it has excellent 'Super nintendo' emulation, it also has excellent 'Super game boy' and 'Super game boy 2' emulation, which I'm looking for.
funkyass tho ZSNES is also open source...
CaptainJistuce 2001 actually predates the bsnes we know and love here.

You're looking for an unrelated project, which was to be a fork of ZSNES. And looks as though it never actually released.
Kawaoneechan There is no BSNES for BeOS, and what might be there is too old to be worth preferring over Snes9X or even ZSNES.

but I'm looking for BSNES (for BeOS 5) not zsnes.
Kawaoneechan I went through that site on the Internet Archive and there's not a trace of bsnes on there.
    daman Hi,

I'm looking for bsnes emulator for 'BeOS 5' which has been on site bsnes.beemulated.net which dates from 2001.

Also I'm looking for the source code.

    Thanks,
