So, I've been recently experiencing bugs and crashes in Noxico that make it rather difficult to play. At first I thought it was because the version on the website wasn't fully updated, so I compiled it from bitbucket and tried that version. Sadly, the issues were still there. I have noticed 3 so far: #1: The game crashes whenever I try to use the crafting table after purchasing the workshop attachment for my house. I can't tell if this is because of incomplete functions, but it's mildly annoying. #2: The game freezes when I try to enter an unexplored dungeon. The longest I've tried to wait for it to actually create the dungeon has been an hour. #3: When I start a game as a herm slime (not sure if it affects other slimes), the game believes I am swimming, meaning I die after the percentage hits 0%. Additionally, the percentage keeps going down from 0% after I have died, meaning I'm stuck swimming indefinitely. I figured I would bring these to your attention since the forums here seem like a graveyard. |

Thank you. I'll look into this over the weekend and report back here. Update: #2 now fixed. It was an endless loop trying to find a good spot for a warp. Update: #3 now fixed. The "is in water" check didn't account for shallowness, so you'd drown in your own slime trail. Several related issues have been resolved too. Update: #1 not fixed. Can't reproduce it. Did notice the table has the wrong appearance, though... I don't just program Noxico... |
