I know, probably a stupid list post you've seen a million times. I like games with a little exploration, alot of memory - being able to look up what I've done, who I've talked to, without having to scribble it down outside of game thrills me. NPCs that remember I've talked to them? Awesome. Things that I like: Pets/followers (like nethack) Randomness (for instance, methack ring of polymorph, or polymorph trait) Wearable/be worn by NPCs (like armor, costume, riding, possession themes?) Change size (Be able to change size and gain/lose access to areas) Exploration (generate new maps to explore, keep directions to old ones that have been generated, lose maps to old ones) Bones maps Sharable maps Claimable/buildable homes, forts (I see there's a spot at the portal, for instance) Android version Optional save points - I know, not a serious roguelike player. But I like to play out scenarios and not suffer just because I'm goofing around one day. Save points that are obtainable in game would be cool: Twinning, egg-laying, magical stones or amulets of lifesaving could be very thematic. -Crissa |

Let's go over your list, then. • Pets: a very good idea. • Polymorphitis: to be considered. The way Nethack works makes this relatively easy, but perhaps random shifts towards target forms... chimerism? • Wearable characters: a slime armor was in development, but that technically killed the slime. • Change size: halfway there, nothing about your height stops you from proceeding at this time. • Exploration: already there. NPCs can mention locations, which are then added to your travel map. They don't exist until you actually go there. • Bones maps: already there, in a debug-cycle sort of sense? • Sharable maps: can't be (easily) done. • Claimable homes: planned. • Android version: jokingly planned because my dad. • Save points: interesting idea. I don't just program Noxico... |

Chimerism is cool, but so is being unable to stop in a form for long. One thing that alot of TF games have that I really don't want, tho? Lots of clicking. CoC and Nimin have tons of grinding. x-x |
