I'm aware that they're all not full implemented yet, but could we get an idea of what skills will be in game and the specific categories they fall into? The numbah of skills that can be in the game would be nice too. Also I'd like to know if they'll be individualized or streamlined like Bethesda's newer games, it seems like you're leaning towards the former rather than the later ex: Short swords, swords, great swords, hammers, great hammers, axes, swimming etc For examples of what I mean by streamlined (Will be updated.) Active skills Archery: Bows, Cross bows, slings Alchemy Athletics: Swimming, Climbing n junk Ballistics: Pistols and solid projectile weapons Blades Blunt Botany Bribe Cooking Con Crafting Enchanting Energy weapons: *Pew pews* and *zap zaps* Flexible: Whips, Riding crops Intimidation Pole arms: Spears, Halberds, Pikes Persuasion Two handed/ Great weapons: Great swords, War hammers ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sex skills Anal/Butt Fucking Bondage Dominant/Toping Exhibitionism Fucking Oral Orgies Karmasutra Masturbation Submissive/Bottom Poor bastard: "How much?" Lilith: "Twenty metric fuck tons of gold and I'm all yours, hawtstuff~" Poor bastard: "Uh miss, a fuckton isn't an actual unit of measurement." Lilith: "Bullshit, a metric fuckton is 1000 metric assloads. Which, if you actually fucking went to school, you'd know was equal to 32.5 Helluvalots." |

Skills are arbitrary. Any weapon can have any value for its skill token, so a regular hammer, the Wrinklefucker™, and the Warhammer of Zillyhoo™ would share the same "skill: warhammer" token, whereas a rifle and Ahab's Crosshairs™ would have a "skill: large_firearm" token. They're practiced by successfully attacking. Defensive items like shields could be practiced in the same way, but that's not implemented yet. Any, and I do mean any other skill is used and practiced through scenes. For example, TDM's "eat out a naga" scene has a skillcheck on cunnilingus, inserts the appropriate text to reflect said skill's level, then calls IncreaseSkill("cunnilingus"). Any nonsexual skill would still be used in scenes, such as "Sweet Talking". I'm not sure how to handle the "Swimming" skill yet. I don't just program Noxico... |

Neat, I'll keep this in mind for any and all scenes in the future. Would it be viable to have methods of increasing skills outside of application via scenes/combat? EX: After the heroine finally found one of the elusive dryads seeking to collect their sap (famous throughout the realm), she was told that she needed to draw it fourth from her steamy, trickling honey pot. After working that tasty snatch for several minutes, the woodworker's diligence was rewarded with passionate cries and a spray of sap from the dryad's sopping cunt. Woodworker vol.XXX IncreaseSkill("cunnilingus") Poor bastard: "How much?" Lilith: "Twenty metric fuck tons of gold and I'm all yours, hawtstuff~" Poor bastard: "Uh miss, a fuckton isn't an actual unit of measurement." Lilith: "Bullshit, a metric fuckton is 1000 metric assloads. Which, if you actually fucking went to school, you'd know was equal to 32.5 Helluvalots." |

That example is a scene.

Hrm, now I feel fucktarded... Anyways now that I know (because knowledge is powa), I can pepper these into my scenes where appropriate. I ask these questions because I wanna step mah game up. Poor bastard: "How much?" Lilith: "Twenty metric fuck tons of gold and I'm all yours, hawtstuff~" Poor bastard: "Uh miss, a fuckton isn't an actual unit of measurement."
