Kawa If I make Noxico graphical, characters will very likely remain Unicode glyphs, on graphical tilemaps. It's that simple.
Bodshivita Ryo, bringing you aboard was perhaps on one of my greatest ideas...

K'wizzle, just make it as basic and bare bones as possible if it's something you're considering on implementing, it seems like it'll take a lot of custom Characters though.
Kawa Stonesense-like is easy. In fact, it'd be reasonably straightforward to switch from Unicode to graphical tilemaps. It's the characters that are a problem.

In Nethack, every character you meet is a specific type, and has its own glyph and color, plus a graphical index. For example, N and are a red naga. A red naga can never become a black naga, or not a naga.

In Noxico, characters can be anything, and at many sizes. It can be done, but I am not willing to go through all those hoops.
Ryous Know what Kawa? I've discovered some nice visualizers made for Dwarf Fortress
and
or even that

If someone with enough programming skills can make a visualizer which let you see in live what happen in the rogue-like version, and make a visual preview of descriptions, it would be awesome !
Kawa I am totes gonna add a filter that turns "rouge" into "rogue" you guys. Pregnancies are something to consider, and the presence of a fertility token certainly implies things, but it's not a thing that's coded yet. As for graphics, I can't see this happening. If only because hugely variable sizes of certain body parts would require each piece of clothing to be drawn several times over! Have you tried Looking at yourself?

Also it's not ASCII it's Unicode :)
Nvos "easier" is subjective; it's designed to be a rougelike, and many rougelikes are famous for perma-death and other punishing, but rewarding gameplay. Besides, RPG Maker 2000 as far as I'm concerned would also break the imaginative-oriented atmosphere by diverting away from the ASCII graphics to something more realistic, and not many people would appreciate that.
Deleted user I think Noxico would be easier if it had rpg maker 2000 like characters to tell what your player looks like and pregnancy system, with this it will make gameplay fun.
