I am having the same issue on Windows Vista 64 Home Premium. I downloaded 0.1.14 from the downloads tab and I can create a character, but when I click the "Play" button, the game crashes. Windows simply tells me there was a problem and closes the game. I made sure I have .Net Framework 4 installed, but with my lack of computer knowledge I am at this point stuck.

Apologies for the late reply as I was engaging in heresy elsewhere. I downloaded the new build you posted and everything appears to be working now. Thank you for whatever is was you did exactly.
