SCI32 and Windows XP

SephiRon I've had quite a bit of trouble getting several sci32 games to run under xp. i can almost finish sq6, but can't pick up the gallstones or pills in stellar's body.

My main concern though, is getting lighthouse running, cuz it won't run at all. Just gives me a weird interpreter/script error, any way i can still get it to run on xp (and i've tried compatibility modes, they never do squat for me).

All help is appreciated, since this is one of my all-time fav sierra adventures.

Thanx
VAG Hi!

I had same probs with LH and Shivers2 on XP (but LSL7 works just fine there). On startup interepter crashes with error 105 in some script (don't remember exactly). DOS ports works just fine. But some times ago i played those games on XP without problems (on another machine). ::) I guess it's caused by too fast CPU leads to overflow/etc in scripts. No ideas how to fix that atm ???

SephiRon hehe, yeah, LSL7 DID work fine, but then it quit working for some reason.

mostly having to do with it not detecting the correct cdrom (since i have 2, so i get confused in the setup when it asks me whether i want to use both).

i'll try some cpu slowdown utilities, or maybe abandonloader will work
