Aww yeah they managed to fix the Direct3D issue when the emulator was minimized (frequent audio stutter/crackle, apparently due to the emulator frequently repeatedly "losing" the graphics device).

That is from a July 11th WIP build. You probably want to test with the official release before worrying everyone.

The 64-bit version is fully clean, according to VirusTotal:
ZIP EXE

The 32-bit version gets detected by some Chinese antivirus as adware:

Why is there no mention of the release on their own forums? Someone remind me why their homepage is in 2006.

The project has had multiple unofficial hand-offs now to new teams.

I'm still wondering who is paying for the website, and why they can't give someone access to update it.

There have been jokes about why the site hasn't been hacked by white hats yet.

 Re: Snes9x 1.55 official release
I've made a post on the forum today, qwertymodo was just too fast :)

As far as I know Jerremy Koot still owns and pays for snes9x.com, but he's not really reachable. The s9x forum admin has some access to the rest of the page, but any pushes on updating always fizzled out. In the end I think there is simply not enough motivation on anyone's part.

The exes were built by myself, must be a false positive.

Well that's some kind of record, I suspect.

Long time no see, welcome! ^-^
