About six months ago we learned that the S-DSP has a ROM in it for the gaussian table. But it's otherwise pure logic and not an MCU (no great surprise.)

Our support of that chip is 100% bit-perfect, but I'd still like to get at the official ROM for posterity.

Unfortunately no updates. The scan needed an additional delayering to actually read the ROM bits, but I've not heard back. I check in every few months, but still no updates. Not exactly a pressing urge since we already have bit-perfect emulation, I suppose.

No word on the PPU-1 or PPU-2, but I guarantee they don't have noteworthy ROMs nor MCUs. It's going to be pure logic again.
