I am kinda hoping the next step for the DVD-Video exploit is a DVD-V that installs the traditional memory card hack.

If the link doesn't start playing, you might need to update/replace the youtube.luac file located here:
https://github.com/videolan/vlc/blob/master/share/lua/playlist/youtube.lua

After that you should be able to open the video the way funkyass mentioned. Once it's playing go to tools > codec information and copy the 'location' link.
