There's been so many stripped down versions of 98 and XP....I think the "lightest" one I saw was XP Gamer's Edition.

I thought about it and came to the conclusion; if you're dumb enough to commit a crime, you're dumb enough to live on the edge doing so. I think the law would be smart enough to disregard any argument involved with this case.

I love how this isn't considered a crime because the security condoned it. Then again, the idiot Neo-Nazi probably didn't press charges.

Lightest I saw was MS-DOS 7. Someone pulled out everything but the MS-DOS part of 9x and put it up as a standalone install.

Any reason for this? Anything that requires 7?

What happens when you install a Cumulative Update for Windows 10? Does any of the removed stuff get reinstalled or is the update process smart enough to not do that?

They completely disabled Windows Update.

Or are you supposed to just never update your copy of Windows 10 and leave your system full of security holes and bugs?
That.

Trailer for a live-action Dora the Explorer film
Just... what.

Why is this a thing? Why does it seem surprisingly violent? And why does it look genuinely entertaining?

It's so odd....they've taken something for the preschool market and updated it for the pre-teen market. It does look entertaining, but I'm also equally baffled. If there's no Swiper, I'm going to incite a riot.

I also have never had an issue with systemd. Arch Linux's wiki taught me how to use it straight away.
Pulse Audio doesn't bother me after I tell it to kindly ask alsa to use a channel. (also Arch wiki)

Here's an idea for a Linux distro: each successive version of a package has to decrease its size/complexity, or else it won't be merged.

GNOME 2 did that and people complained. GNOME 3 did it again and people complained. You can’t please everybody.

Holy shit, it got simple. Caja for the win here, because Thunar is crash city.

Not an issue, but when my VR is "turned on", I can hear a rhythmic 4 clicks from my video card.

The next step is to track the emulation progress of every single game as Fitzroy has tested them.

Yup. It was pretty interesting seeing the difference in slowdown between CPUs.

I woke up, saw a message that some add-ons had been disabled, checked them out, found out nothing had been disabled and continued on my merry way. Even my search engines are still there. If it wasn't for that message and everyone crying Bloody Mary, I wouldn't have noticed anything.

The Borderlands 1 GOTY Enhanced can bite me with it's shitty, shitty lag that can't be fixed even after disabling voice.

I've had no FPS issues, just shitty, shitty co-op lag issues. But perhaps I haven't played it enough because I only wanted to play co-op.
